Ollantaytambo

Ollantaytambo is a located at 60 kilometers northwest of the city of Cusco. During the Inca Empire, Ollantaytambo was the royal estate of Inca Emperor. It is an important tourist attraction on account of its Inca buildings and as one of the most common starting points for the four-day, three-night hike known as the Inca Trail. Located 20 minutes away from Cusco. Poroy is the closest train station to Cusco. Base Train Station for Perurail with its luxury and economical services, Poroy has become, along with Ollantaytambo, in one of the major points for tourists moving to and from Machupicchu.
